This 27-hour program will begin with a foundational review of medical considerations and planning, then transition into ballistic access, featuring modern-day presentations and classroom interaction. During this portion, we will develop attendees to retain a deeper understanding of the functionality of ballistic tools, proper storage, carriage, and actions on target. We will also cover failed breach procedures, non-traditional targets, and the process of administratively and tactically clearing the shotgun in an operational capacity. Once proficiency is shown and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are demonstrated, we will transition into the Instructor Development portion to explore not only the how but also the why and the professional development of others. In this portion, we will focus on legal considerations, development characteristics, and the creation of lesson plans using adult learning methods, such as VARK.
